What cookies and equivalent technologies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a site. On this site we also use equivalent technologies, such as browser local storage (localStorage), which serve similar functions. Throughout this notice, the term cookies covers all of these technologies.
They are used to make the site work, remember your choices, and help us understand, in aggregated form, how the pages are used.
Our consent model
Cookies and analytics tools that are not strictly necessary are only activated once you accept them in the cookie notice shown on your first visit. You can accept or refuse. If you refuse, we continue to use only what is essential to the site's operation. Your choice is stored locally in your browser and can be changed at any time, as described further below.
Categories of cookies we use
Strictly necessary cookies and storage:
- A record of your choice on the cookie notice, so we do not show it again on every visit. Stored in your browser's local storage.
- Technical storage used by the AI conversation assistant to function correctly during your use of it.
- Technical session and security cookies managed by our hosting infrastructure, necessary for delivering pages and preventing abuse.
Cookies and analytics tools (subject to your consent):
- Vercel Web Analytics, to measure site usage in a privacy-compatible way and without direct identification.
- Vercel Speed Insights, to measure page load performance and experience.
- Google Analytics 4, for audience and usage analytics. It is only loaded after you accept, through Google's consent mode, and is currently being activated.
Purposes
We use these technologies to ensure the site's operation and security, remember your preferences, and measure, in aggregated form, the usage and performance of the pages, with the aim of improving them. We do not use cookies for behavioural advertising or to build individual profiles.
How to manage or refuse cookies
You can manage cookies in several ways:
- On the site itself, by refusing non-essential tools in the cookie notice shown on your first visit.
- In your browser, by setting it to block or delete cookies and clear local storage. Clearing this site's data brings back the cookie notice, letting you review your choice.
- Through the privacy settings of your operating system and browser, which offer additional controls over data collection.
Refusing non-essential cookies does not prevent you from using the site, although some aggregated measurements will no longer be collected.
